Ok. hi peoples. im pretty sure there are a bunch of you who would like to be raiding more often and even wanting to be progressing like we were prior to the summer. SO, heres the thing, in order to do so, i would like some input as to WHAT you people would like to be running. FURTHERMORE, it helps when we have a set time that a bunch of saints can be on at the same time.

SO PLEASE, respond to this thread with 25 mans that you are interested in, AND times that are good for YOU. we can all groan about how we're not doing anything, or not as much as we used to, but to start up again, we need everyone to pitch in a little.

Im considering lewt reaver, scholo bitch person and rage winterchill are doable. so i guess read up on them? i'll talk about hordecore about sundays raid (actually, probably ez will, who we should thank for setting up 25 mans again).

Lets bring ourselves back on the map. Thank you.

Vorador the Burninator says that he's not ready for 25mans yet, but is all about Karazhan. Vorador the Burninator also refers to himself in the third person.

But seriously, Vor needs more gear to survive and be useful, he can't even handle ZA yet. Pryzm's in the same boat, I can tank Kara with a good healer backing me up, but I'm not ready for anything past that, and my healset is still in early Kara stages.

During the week I'm available to tank or DPS from 4:30PM to 12AM server time. Saturdays I am unavailable between 5PM to 5AM server time, and I am available all day Sunday (unless theres a MotoGP race on). I can do Kara, ZA, Mag's, Gruul's, and have participated in SSC once.

Alrighty, despite what you may have been led to believe, 25-man content is not hard and not extremely gear-intensive (unless you're an important tank). In pretty much every encounter, it's all about coordination and attentiveness.

Solarian is a joke if everyone knows what they're supposed to be doing and Lurker is about the same--it all comes down to simply knowing the fights and how to play your class to the hilt with the gear you're packing.

That said, I think we might be a bit too weak for Hyjal at the moment just based on the fact that we are a little gear-light on a lot of people and we don't have the super cohesion that comes with just having done a bunch of raiding. If everyone that's interested takes a little extra time to get that one piece of badge gear or any of a hundred other little things they can get to help our their personal raid presence, then its easily doable.

As for Kara--its a good idea for anyone that could use more badge gear and anyone that doesn't already have gear better than what they could pick up there. Also, 25-man raiding doesn't replace Kara so much either since Kara (with the right group) is a painless 4 hours of badges and shards once you have a well-tuned group.

Other than that...the best thing to do for any 25-man raid is to make sure that you're specced right and that you're performing your role as best you can. Off-specs can be fine if the player knows exactly what they're bringing to the table and can put up numbers that suggest they know what they're doing. If you aren't sure what your ideal raid spec is or are curious then post in the respective class forums and one of our class experts will answer your question.

We're really good at whipping players into shape--its no surprise that our players dominate the meters in non-guild raids. If you're curious about anything don't be afraid to ask. =)

Back on topic though, I'd personally like to hit TK for Solarian and VR and then a handful of bosses in SSC to get our people geared and then make a real push for Hyjal. Everyone should start taking a look at videos and strategies for all of the fights ahead of us so that we can get rolling with a minimum of explanation.

Just my couple of cents =)

I can honestly say I'm more of a time dependant problem child. I know gear wise I'm good for Kara, Gruuls, Mags, ZA, TK, and maybe SSC (don't know cuz I've never been there). The only down side is I think I'm the only person in the guild who is on the west coast, so I don't get home until 5:30 or 6pm Server time.

If we do all the 25 man content on the weekends that would be good for me. I don't mind pugging into the 10 man stuff, but I would prefer doing it with guildies.

So basically, post it and I'll tell you if I can make it.

Your not alone Lets, when I'm on a normal work schedule I can't raid till 5:30 either.

Lately it has worked out well though, for raiding at least.
